Marie Antoinette plot
"Rumor. Scandal. Sex. Fame. Revolution."
Marie Antoinette is carefree and barely mature when she is married off to Louis XVI. But the pressure at the court of Versailles is great and she regularly tries to escape traditional life in whirling eccentric parties. Outside the walls of royal life, the French Revolution begins to take shape. Marie Antoinette becomes the center of fierce criticism and that rises to a head when she is - unjustly - accused of the winged statement "If they have no bread, then they eat cake!", in response to the starving French population. She will become one of the most recognizable women in European history.
