Married Bachelor plot
"SHE - wanted to settle down and leave her hotel by the front door, instead of sneaking down a fire escape!"
Randolph Haven, a man of the irresponsible kind, and his wife Norma, have been married for seven years and are still very much in love, although Norma is dissatisfied with their lifestyle and gets a job as a saleswoman. Randolph forms a partnership with a bookmaker and, to cover a bet, sells a manuscript of "The Psychology of Marriage." However, Randolph did not write the book himself and has to pretend to be a bachelor. But then the publisher falls in love with Norma, unaware that she is married to Randolph.
