Aladin Chatterjee (Riteish Deshmukh) lives in the city of Khwaish, which means 'wish'. He is an orphan and has been bullied by Kasim and his gang since childhood. His life takes an unexpected turn when Jasmine (Jacquline Fernandez) presents him with a magic lamp. When Aladin rubs it, the genie Genius (Amitabh Bachchan) appears. Genius is desperate to grant Aladin his three wishes to end his contract with the Magic Lamp as soon as possible. Genius only makes Aladin's life harder until the real deception appears on the horizon; the ex-ghost Ringmaster (Sanajy Dutt). Why does Ringmaster want to kill Aladin? What is the dark secret about Aladin's past that Genius carries and what is Aladin's fate?
