"Nothing In This World Has Prepared You For This."

The best warriors, the Mortals, take on evil in the fearsome kingdom of Outworld. The stakes are nothing less than the fate of the world and all its inhabitants. The three Mortals are invited by Shang Tsung to the tenth Mortal Kombat, and under the guidance of the mighty thunder god Rayden, they learn to overcome their own inner fear. If the four-armed prince Goro were to win this tournament, the earth would be plunged into a great darkness forever. But the Mortals have a secret weapon, the beautiful Princess Kitana. But will they succeed in restoring peace and tranquility to 'Outworld'?

The fate of billions will depend on you! Ha ha ha!

From that moment on I knew what this would turn out to be: all stupidity with quasi-epic fights in between. It's laughably moronic, the acting is substandard and the special effects don't look too bright either. Thank God this didn't become boring, so 2.5* is in order for this film.

Unfamiliar with the game, and what a monstrosity of a movie this is!

Let's just say for the fans, because from a film technical point of view it is one big drama. *1.5

Nostalgia. Not just the game, but the movie as well.

Watching Canal+ on a drizzly Wednesday afternoon.

Blowing because this mush is reeling, but still watch out.

Procrastination for homework, of course, but also recognizability, simplicity, good overcomes evil.

And then 25 years later, sleepless night, Netflix on, scrolling, Mortal Kombat? Yeah right?!

We don't have to look anymore, we can choose when we see something. But on Wednesday night you don't watch high-quality work, you watch a movie where it doesn't matter that you fall asleep, you hope you fall asleep at the movie! And an hour and a half flies by with bad acting, but also memorable quotes like:

You'll fight bravely enough, but foolishly, carelessly and you'll be beaten

If you are afraid to trust, you will lose!

I'm almost tempted to rate this work highly, almost... But the morning and a little sleep comes and I don't go beyond 2*. Even though I think Mortal Kombat is fantastic!
