Furioza plot
"Love hurts. Betrayal kills."
Police officer Dzika decides to put an end to the activities of an organized crime group once and for all. The gang consists of extreme football fans that she once belonged to. Now an experienced policewoman, she calls on David, her old lover. She makes him an offer he cannot refuse: either he becomes an informer or his brother goes to prison for a long time. With his back against the wall, David agrees and must find a way to infiltrate the group.

Furioza
Nice Polish action/crime film. Unfortunately, I found it a bit difficult to follow at times, but that was also due to the subtitles. The film has brutal scenes, but sometimes also dialogues that I thought had added value. The film is also quite long, but fortunately enough happens. Acting was quite nice, Golden was especially good in his role, loco.
I give Furioza 3 stars.

Polish director Cyprian T. Olencki comes up with a film about football hooligans, but then refuses to stick to that essence. After a while, Furioza turns into a somewhat tired crime film with too little innovation to justify such a choice. This does not alter the fact that the cast members perform very well, and Mateusz Damięcki in particular delivers a captivating and intriguing figure. Olencki naturally opts for an authentic, raw atmosphere that is properly realized. The dirty street scene and the hard fights contribute excellently to the relevant stylization, but the film could have been a bit more energetic at times. The direction is quite classic, something that is actually ill-suited for these types of subjects. Ultimately, the film has a tight and well-organized story, but towards the last half hour they seemed to no longer quite know what to do with it all. The ending tends more towards effect than a well-thought-out conclusion.

Furioza is a film where you can speak of good acting against a good backdrop. Story-wise I find the film to be significantly lower. The makers want to tell too much, which sometimes makes it seem messy and creates long-winded / unnecessary scenes that regularly threaten to make you drop out.
