Nice film in which a part of Paris is still surrounded by a high wall to isolate the scum. Where the predecessor produced a fresh action film, this is slightly less the case here (also because the jumping and climbing work is less visible). Nevertheless, it is certainly entertaining and the action scenes look good again.

This sequel is again quite nice, but not as catchy as the first film. This second part tries to bring in a bit more story, which is clearly at the expense of the style. In which part one knows its strength and simplicity by keeping the Archdeugniet mainly in district 13, it can be found outside district 13 in the second part. As a result, all style elements such as dubious figures, racing cars and the parkour are represented to a lesser extent. This was precisely the strength of the film, because it created a certain atmosphere. The first five minutes suggest that it was going to be another hit, but after that it unfortunately soon became no more than what I described above.

Slightly less than its predecessor, but fun nonetheless.

In itself, this sequel follows the same recipe as its predecessor; Poor District 13 is once again in danger of falling victim to political intrigue, and our two acrobatic protagonists are once again on hand to undermine these nefarious schemes. Will they succeed? Of course they succeed. After which - as icing on the cake - the biggest villain among the corrupt scum is personally lured for a while. Nothing new under the sun, so it's not very far.

Because the action is spectacular enough, although just a step lower than the action in part one. However, Alessandrin apparently saw the need to pay just a little too much attention to an in fact wafer-thin story. You don't have to be a connoisseur to see that the plot is pure nonsense, so why does it take so much time in relative terms?

But otherwise an extremely entertaining active hitch. The dynamic fights and free-run sessions were once again enjoyable. I'm definitely up for a third part. 3.0*.
