The Contractor plot
Several years ago, CIA assassin James Dial's mission to kill terror cell leader, Ali Mahmoud Jahar, failed. The latter was recently arrested and detained in London. Dial, who has retired and now lives in seclusion, gets the chance from his former employer Jeremy Collins to eliminate Jahar after all. Dial leaves for the United Kingdom with assistant Terry Winchell.

I personally think that with a 4.0 I give it way too much compared to other films I've given 4.0 before... but I don't think it's a 3.5 either.. because then it doesn't make sense compared to the other films I give 3.5.
This movie has a lot of action scenes, some that are quite impressive (but not original), the effects in this movie are quite good, and the time is well taken. The story is not very original, that a girl helps a much older crook is also not original, but I have not seen that in a form like this before.
This movie has the right speed, the right actors, and also a good storyline that has never let me down. The acting between Snipes and that girl was great too. I didn't like the rest a bit.
I had a great time with this movie, I had little to complain about during the movie, and the story is beautiful and well told.
It has the quality of a 4.0 movie, but doesn't have the originality to get to 4.0. But since it's portrayed perfectly in this movie despite that, I just think this movie "softly" deserved it.

[i][The Contractor/i] is one of those quintessential movies in which everyone and everything seriously tries their best to make something out of it, but the platform itself turns out to be too mind-numbing. All very boring. With a little more work, the story could have been more engaging and the movie itself interesting. Now you have to wait for the subtitles if you can keep that up at all.
