The Romance of Tarzan plot
Tarzan is considered the Greystoke's heir. Clayton, thinks he is also entitled to that title and does everything in his power to keep the fortune to himself. He makes up the story that Tarzan was killed in an attack that also killed Jane. Something that is far from true, but Jane believes him. Tarzan decides to follow her.
