“It's bad to kill. Gun kill. And you don't have to be a gun. You are what you choose to be. you choose. Choose.”

Nice. The Iron Giant is an animated film that I watched many times in my youth and that now, after years of not seeing it, impresses again. It's clearly a children's movie and the Hogarth-Iron Giant bond is a bit overly sentimental at times, but it worked for me. Especially the last part is extremely feel good, but this is a children's movie that of course can only end in one way. It's bittersweet, and I can appreciate that.

Found it again somewhere in the closet, a film that I also liked very much in the past, so nostalgia plays a part in this too. It may be a children's film, but even now I can still enjoy it. The setting in the 1950s with the fear of UFOs and the like is not often seen in cartoons, and that makes the film unique. The giant may be the highlight of the movie, he looks cool, and the bond Hogarth builds with him is very sweet. Furthermore, the story and the rest of the character are also fine, and the ending of the movie where the giant sacrifices himself is also nice.

Nice, cute cartoon that stirs a bit of nostalgia here, and the giant remains a cool character, 3.5!

beautiful animation for children and said who have remained children and can enjoy children's movies and animations

When you watch this movie, do you understand what it is really about? something that man cannot understand and we only know war and destruction that children see differently from us adults and this war machine through the eyes of a child turns into a great friend but not everyone sees that for adults that is bad and what does not fit in their world one has to get rid of that is when we grow up. even that this destruction machine along with a child saved the world by that a stupid adult only sees war, sacrificing his life for man.
