The man (Gilles) must have had an excellent memory, it turned out once again

at the stunning end of the film. The film with a surprising premise that

is very well developed, which is mainly due to the excellent acting

of both protagonists. Somewhat amusing also to see the German officer speak a language

learning that does not exist at all. What a beautiful language, he even admits at the end

fall out. With the entertaining scene, of course, when towards the end the officer

confronted with the deception almost hilariously. In the long run, even one will arise

slightly confidential relationship between the two, although the dividing line remains with a tangible one

threat intact. A threat that is reinforced by a few who have been Gilles from the outset

disbelieve and mistrust. How a single sandwich can save someone's life. But

the clever Gilles had to do something for it: A nerve-wracking test of survival.

A rare (Unique) war film with little action that mainly thrives on the acting and

a strong and entertaining and well-directed narrative. The film seems (Partly) based

to be true events.

Compelling film with beautiful endings about a Jewish prisoner in a concentration camp, who teaches a German officer a fictional language to save his skin. The extremely improbable story could not prevent me from watching fascinated. Well acted by both protagonists.

The alertness and formidable memory of a prisoner of war against the naive, stupid folly of a German officer yields what appears to be a true event, a stunning story set against the inhumanity of a concentration camp with the urge to stay alive and escape the cowardly brutality of the guards constantly present.

Beautiful, strong film that captivates until the end, which also has a disconcerting, emotional scene in store.

So you see how a coincidence, a detail, some luck, can decide about a human life and how a German officer did not think it suspicious that all Farsian words were so incredibly short.

The theme of "concentration camp" is inexhaustible and all films, one way or another, have the merit of reminding and making us aware of that horror...
