The young and talented Alice is doing well. She works as a sous chef at one of New York's top restaurants and has a relationship with her handsome boss Brett. Yet she is not happy. When she receives an invitation to judge in Kansas for a cooking competition, she immediately accepts it. Once there, she is pleasantly surprised to see her ex Christian again, who is also there to judge. While they spend a lot of time together and love blossoms again, Alice is faced with a difficult choice. Will she choose her old life in New York or give their love a second chance?
