Excellent mini-series about a 13 year old boy accused of murdering a girl. Each episode is one long, uninterrupted shot. So from a technical point of view a strong piece of filmmaking with special camerawork. It increases the urgency, but it does not benefit the credibility during the first two episodes (because of the speed at which everything happens). Excellent acting, especially from the young Owen Cooper (especially in the 3rd episode).

Watched it in one go. Very nice series that definitely makes you think. Part 3, the conversation between the psychologist and the young suspect, also made the biggest impression on me. The difference between the scared boy at the beginning of part 1 and the occasionally 'aggressive' behavior in part 3. I did notice that at the beginning of part 1 the parents did not ask 'what do you mean, murder, which murder'. That is the first thing you would ask yourself as a parent whose son is arrested with much fanfare. It seemed to me that the murder itself was a 'given' to the parents, but that there was only fear about the manner of arrest. But good acting, especially by the young star Owen Cooper.

A-ma-zing! From the first scene you are drawn into the series. The technical camera work is amazing, each episode is 1 long scene that is filmed and acted without interruption. Clever!

Dr acting performances are also rock solid. The father, the mother, the sister, the psychologist, the police officers and Jamie himself.

At first you are immediately in the corner of "innocent" but gradually it becomes clear that the fork is in the handle differently. The highly underestimated and dangerous social media is also brought to attention but could have been explored a bit further in my opinion. Social media is pure poison for our youth and can have bizarre consequences, such as the murder of a young girl.
