Very good series. In a way it resembles Se7en (the motives from social criticism, but that turns out to be a facade). The concept of the cat-and-mouse game between offender(s) and the police is perfectly explained, without too many side plots, but keeping the focus on the conflict.

I have a soft spot for that concept where the culprit(s) remain unknown for a long time and many movies that try the same can't compete with this. Also good in almost all facets (acting, the atmosphere, the characters, cliff hangers, cruelty and suspense). It's also great that there is some humor in it, such as Martin's non-verbal reactions to Saga.

Furthermore, don't think too long about the set-up of the murders because it's impossible to execute it so perfectly. Fortunately, you don't stop there because of the pace. Ten episodes are also fine, not too long.

Enjoyed The Bridge with an almost iconic culprit, only so halfway through this season has a dip.

What a mega good series. I would almost say that something like this can only come from Scandinavia. So far I found Okkupert (Series, 2015 - 2020) the best series from Scandinavia, but Bron has surpassed it in my opinion. The best I think is the character Saga: that role is portrayed so incredibly well by Sofia Helin that I wouldn't be surprised if she behaves that way in real life. Her one-liners are sometimes genius and humorous. Kim Bodnia (Martin) comes in a close second in acting. The plot is fairly complex with regular twists and turns. This series is highly recommended.

The best series from Scandinavia in my opinion.

Especially the main character Saga Noren is sublimely portrayed by actress Sofia Helin; Saga is definitely a character who is afflicted with ASD, but that is precisely why she is good at her job as a detective, details and connections immediately stand out to her, whereas people without ASD take longer or often cannot find the details and connections. ..

Saga has, as it used to be called, Asperger's Syndrome: socially and emotionally different from most people, but super intelligent.

You could call Saga "Amateur human being, but research & analytic Genius".

In her private life, actress Sofia Hein is 180 degrees the opposite of the character Saga Norwegians I recently read in an interview; that's why the role of Saga had demanded a lot from her...

Why I think it's such a special series is also due to the fact that I myself also have ASD, which used to be referred to as 'Asperger'; socially and emotionally awkward, but in my work my analytical skills and attention to detail come together nicely. Troubleshooting is my strongest point, with dot on 1...
