The Witchfinder plot
England, seventeenth century. A 'witchfinder', who tracks down possible witches to bring them to justice and collect finder's fees, transports a woman suspected of being a witch to a trial that could earn him a lot of money. Then, however, he has to deal with the worst travel companions imaginable: famine and plague reign in the land. In addition, the country is in the grip of civil war, which also complicates the journey in many ways. Both the witch hunter and the suspected witch never want to stop whining and arguing: this makes the journey through a landscape of drunkards, religious fanatics and impostors all the more difficult.
