It is striking that this season is rated better here than the first.
Still very entertaining in itself, but the last episode in particular felt messy and rushed.
Coolidge's magic wore off quickly for me too, the joke is gone. And in the last episode it just got painfully bad how she was acting.
Still, I thought the first season worked better as a whole and there were more fun characters there too.

S2 by The White Lotus immediately feels very familiar; arrival by boat, luxury resort, Jennifer Coolidge, a motley crew of colorful characters and one big flashback. Familiar, mysterious, yet different. S2 is more soap opera, flatter and the villainous venom that characterized S1 has faded into the background a bit more. Nevertheless, this dark comedy has all the ingredients for 7-part ultimate entertainment; an ingenious screenplay, beautiful cinematography, wonderful locations and fine actors. The white lotus flower shines in all its perfection.

Wanted to try it again because of the many very positive reactions, but keep finding it lame, couldn't even smile with it once, this is not for me, I think it's terrible ....
