The British-American comedy Ted Lasso is an ode to kindness and optimism. Positivo Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) is an American football coach who moves to the English football club AFC Richmond to work there without any knowledge of football. This naturally leads to misunderstandings, (language) jokes and confusion. Jason Sudeikis himself moved to England after a breakup, Ted Lasso does the same. Lasso, with a good mustache, is the nicest person you could wish for in your area. For example, he brings fresh cookies every day for club owner Rebecca Welton, a beautiful role of Hannah Waddington. With a solid screenplay and wonderful acting (every character deserves compassion), Ted Lasso is an uncomplicated, light-hearted comedy in the best British tradition. Especially if you don't like football. The music is by a good friend of Sudeikis, Marcus Mumford.

I also have nothing to do with football, haven't seen anything from the recent European Championship 2021. Started watching this series a while ago (with my wife who also has nothing to do with football) because of the good reviews. Wasn't expecting much from it at first because of the football topic. But we are both positively surprised! What a wonderful, fun series. You really don't have to like football to enjoy this series. Can't wait for the next season (hope it's just as fun)
