The Glades plot

The Glades is about a Chicago detective who is falsely accused of sleeping with his boss's wife. He reinforced that by shooting at him. With damages, he decides to move to Florida, where he buys a nice house with the money received and starts working for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). He expects to have fun on the golf course, but is kept from doing so by solving murder cases. Because while he's tough to get along with and barely submits to the authority of his superiors, he's obviously the smartest detective in the department.
