Robin of Sherwood plot
The series begins with the murder of the father of the then five-year-old Robin van Loxley. Fifteen years later, Robin, lovingly welcomed into the miller's family, finds his younger foster brother Much poaching in the woods. Before they can flee, they are caught by Sir Guy of Gisburne imprisoning them in the dungeons of Nottingham Castle. Robin, Much and several other inmates, including Will Scarlet, manage to escape. As a result, they are declared outlaws and from that moment on they live among the trees in Sherwood Forest. From that moment on Robin does everything he can to help the poor and oppressed under the pseudonym Robin Hood.

Second season of the successful and groundbreaking series based on the folk legend Robin Hood. After a wonderful first season, the upward trend in this second season continues unabated. The stories are again written by Richard Carpenter.
The double episode The Swords Of Wayland is one of the better episodes in the complete series. The other parts are also of a high standard. Actor Michael Praed became extremely popular with female audiences thanks to Robin Of Sherwood, but after two seasons he gave up and got the chance to star in the American TV series [i]Dynasty[/i ] to play. His character Robin Hood is therefore written at the end of the series. In the third season, the role of Robin Hood was taken over by the young Jason Connery (Sean Connery's son).
