Schedule 4 to the Coast Protection Act 1949 (“the Act”) specifies waters which, for the purposes of Part 1 of the Act (coast protection), are not included in the expressions “sea” and “seashore”. These Regulations vary Schedule 4 to the Act so as to extend the part of the River Teifi which is included in those expressions.
Mae Atodlen 4 i Ddeddf Diogelu'r Arfordir 1949 (“y Ddeddf”) yn pennu dyfroedd nad ydynt, at ddibenion Rhan 1 o'r Ddeddf (diogelu'r arfordir), wedi'u cynnwys yn yr ymadroddion “sea” a “seashore”. Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn amrywio Atodlen 4 i'r Ddeddf er mwyn ymestyn y rhan honno o Afon Teifi a gynhwysir yn yr ymadroddion hynny.
These Regulations make provision, in relation to Wales, with respect to notices of proposals to carry out coast protection work published by coast protection authorities under section 5(1) of the Coast Protection Act 1949 (“the Act”), and notices of objection to such work served under section 5(3) of the Act. They replace the Coast Protection (Notices) Regulations 1950.
Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn gwneud darpariaeth, mewn perthynas â Chymru, ynglŷn â hysbysiadau o gynlluniau i wneud gwaith diogelu'r arfordir a gyhoeddir gan awdurdodau diogelu'r arfordir o dan adran 5(1) o Ddeddf Diogelu'r Arfordir 1949 (“y Ddeddf”), a hysbysiadau o wrthwynebiad i'r fath waith a gyflwynir o dan adran 5(3) o'r Ddeddf. Maent yn disodli Rheoliadau Diogelu'r Arfordir (Hysbysiadau) 1950.
