In the case of cattle born before 1st July 1996 the notification of death in accordance with the second indent of Article 7.1 of Regulation (EC) No. 1760/2000 shall be by the keeper noting the death and the holding on which the animal died on the registration certificate issued by the National Assembly for that animal and sending it to the British Cattle Movement Service within 7 days of the death.
