These Regulations transpose Directive 2014/29/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of member States relating to the making available on the market of simple pressure vessels (recast) (OJ L 96, 29.3.2014, p.45) (“the Directive”).
PART 2Obligations of economic operatorsImportersRequirements which must be satisfied before an importer places a category B vessel on the market

Before placing a category B vessel on the market, an importer must ensure that—
a
it has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the sound engineering practice in a Member State;
b
it bears the inscriptions; and
c
the manufacturer has complied with the requirements set out in regulation 11 (labelling of vessels).
