Head to Yorkshire Wildlife Park this Easter where an unforgettable experience awaits the whole family.

Visitors can enjoy a vast array of shows throughout each day, including Victor’s Big Adventure, The Jungle Book Live Show and Pirates of Pantaloon Bay, which are included in the entry price.

Performances will be running every day from Sunday, March 29 to Monday, April 21. Children can also follow an Easter trail with a special Jungle Book theme.

Those visiting will be amongst the first to meet 12-year-old Bindi the Crowned Lemur, who arrived from Suffolk and quickly settled into her new home at Lemur Woods.

Valentine’s Day was a romantic day for the new arrival, who was introduced to park's lemur Loko on the recommendation of the European Endangered Species Programme.

Bindi has recently joined the lemurs at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Crowned Lemurs are gravely at risk of extinction, with an estimated 1,000-10,000 surviving in the wild in Madagascar. Both Bindi and Loko live in Lemur Woods, a woodland walk-through reserve at the park, home to three different species of lemur: Crowned, Ring-Tailed and Red-Bellied Lemurs.

The park prides itself on its global conservation efforts, working closely with the WildLife Foundation, the charity based at the park. The Foundation is raising funds for two species of lemurs and is a major supporter of conservation efforts to protect them

While animals take centre stage at the park, it also boasts the World of Pangea, an immersive, pre-historic dinosaur experience home to more than 30 life-sized, moving, roaring dinosaurs.

Kids can also enjoy the indoor Uproar! Playbarn where they can swing, slide, and stomp through a world filled with pre-historic themed obstacles! The park’s eateries provide a wide range of food and drink options throughout the day, and younger visitors can enjoy indoor and outdoor play areas.

Park CEO John Minion said: "We are incredibly excited to bring a variety of live shows and entertainment for Easter this year for the whole Easter holidays.

"It brings an interactive element for families to their day at the Wildlife Park Resort, seeing amazing animals from around the world and enjoying all the other activities on offer.

"Spring is always a busy period at the park, and we are looking forward to welcoming families to Yorkshire Wildlife Park."

The park, which puts conservation at the heart of all its activities, offers visitors a mesmerising walk-through experience coming almost face-to-face with some of the world’s most beautiful and at-risk species, including polar bears, lions, tigers, cheetahs, leopards, monkeys, hyenas, black rhinos, giraffes, African painted dogs and many more.

You can stay at the resort in The Yorkshire Hive, which includes the Hex Wildlife Hotel
