Hi paryy! Not sure if we've spoken before. Fun question. I just read the book Fearless by Jeanette Leech, which is a book focused on the period where post-rock was a term for reactions against indie music in the british isles and the US. I haven't listened to them a great deal, but Pram were actually relatively consistent throughout the 1990's in their blending of post-punk sonics, shrill vocality, CAN influence, and the signature childsplay instrumentation. I think every one of their albums is a grab-bag where they never fully depart from the sound of the 1993 LP, but definitely head for the '97 or '00 albums if you like trip-hop a lot. (Like most UK bands, they get a touch more electronic as the 90s go.)
