I LOVE Steve Hillage he is absolutely amazing. Can't find words to describe him and his music! I'm surprised he's not more well known..I hardly ever get across people who know about him. I love everything from Healing Feeling to the Lunar Musick Suite...both two of my favourite masterpieces.. The way he plays the guitar...it's like his fingers play the inner strings of your heart...

Steve is great - he was also in Mike Oldfield's band that played Tubular Bells live on TV back in the 70s, there is a video of it out on the net somewhere... Fish Rising is wonderful! Also check out Tim Blake, the keyboard player with Steve on that album and in Gong and later with Hawkwind.

hey peeps,i would really check out mirror system,also steve and miquette,its a down beat version of system 7,i went and saw them at camdem the other week and was a great sound,more tribal almost arabic with a smidgen of flaminco thrown in,and also gong along with the steve hillage band are playing at a localish mini fest in july called "lounge on the farm"at canterbury,google it and dont miss it!!

Legendary guitarist, musician, songwriter. Motivation Radio is a definite desert island album for me. It never fails to pick me up when I'm down.
