Bismarck man arrested, charged with attempting to lure a minor for sex

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A Bismarck man was arrested and charged with luring a minor and drug possession on March 30.
According to an affidavit, 63-year-old Patrick Fadely and a Bismarck police officer posing as a 16-year-old on a dating app messaged each other. The officer says Fadely asked for sexual pictures and made plans to meet in person.
Officers say they found meth, cocaine, guns and ammunition while searching Fadely’s apartment.
His bond is set at $25,000. His next court hearing is May 5.
