Esther Omosa is a senior nutrition specialist at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) working at the intersection livestock food system and nutrition focusing on the Food Environment with the aim to promote healthy diets to address all forms of malnutrition especially in the Low- and Middle-Income Countries. Previously, Esther has worked in humanitarian and development settings supporting livelihood, social protection, food security and nutrition programmes. She is passionate about strengthening the understanding of the links between agrifood systems and human nutrition and health. She holds a BSc in Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics and a masters in public health and Epidemiology from Kenyatta University, Kenya. She is a PhD candidate in Global nutrition at Wageningen University and Research, Netherlands.
