Metro: Redux Release Date Announced

Metro: Redux will hit PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 26 in North America and August 29 in Europe.

The rumours we heard previously have come to pass, with the games being available individually via digital download for $24.99 / €19.99 / £15.99 or together in a boxed compilation for $49.99.

Three modes will be available to play: the Survival Play style, which offers limited resources, tougher AI and slower reloads; the Spartan Play style, which adds more skills and resources; and the Ranger Mode, which strips away the HUD and applies hardcore rules.

Metro 2033 first released on Xbox 360 and PC in March 2010, when the survival horror title received an okay review. The sequel, Metro: Last Light, came to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in May 2013 to a marginally better reception.
