The Fate of Tsushima Walkthrough
Travel to Lord Shimura's Camp
Travel to Lord Shimura’s Camp and speak with the Samurai reinforcements by the gate.
Optional: Speak with your other Allies (0/4)
While you won’t receive anything for speaking with these allies, you will gain short cutscenes that lend towards the story. You can find them in the following locations:
Speak to Kenji by the fence of the training area as he overlooks the battering ram.
Speak with Sensei Ishikawa inside the training area as he trains a small group of Archers.
Speak with Lady Masako just left of the main gate, as she trains two Samurai.
Speak with Norio as he meditates inside the makeshift temple.
Speak with Yuna
Find and speak with Yuna, who can be found inside the building across from the makeshift temple, which also happens to have a well outside by the entrance.
Speak with Lord Oga
TIP: The Fate of Tsushima is a long Tale, be sure to make any upgrades and purchases before traveling with Lord Oga.
After speaking with Yuna, make your way to the main gate and speak with Lord Oga.
Travel with Lord Oga to meet your Uncle
Mount your horse and follow Lord Oga to meet with your uncle.
Speak with Lord Shimura
Climb the watchtower and speak with Lord Shimura.
Push Forward and Defeat the Mongol Forces
Push forward towards the main gate and defeat the Mongol forces. You will face all types of enemies during this encounter, including Swordsmen, Shieldsmen, Spearmen, Brutes, and Archers.
Once you defeat the forces, a short cutscene will play as your allies open the gate.
Using your bow and arrow, aim for the fire brazier that hangs above the Archers in the distance.
You will also find an explosive barrel just below the brazier, along with more explosive barrels by the tent just left of the gate. Use these to take our multiple enemies at once.
Like before, continue pushing forward with Lord Shimura, taking out any Mongols that get in your way.
You’ll face Archers, Brutes, Shieldsmen, and Swordsmen, so be prepared to switch between stances to ensure that you are using the most effective combat styles to defeat each enemy.
As you push through the next gate, take out the next wave of Mongol forces - Swordsmen, Brutes, Shieldsmen, and Archers.
Scout ahead of your Army
To avoid any surprises, climb onto the bridge via the ladder towards the wall on your left and head inside the building.
As you near the broken window inside, a cutscene will begin.
Defeat the Hwacha Operators
Make your way towards the Hwacha Towers and defeat the operators with honor.
This area is riddled with Mongol forces that range from Archers, Brutes, Swordsmen, and Shieldmen. However, while fighting your way to the tower, you will need to dodge the incoming rain of arrows from the Hwacha.
TIP: While making your way through the gate, you’ll find several explosive barrels. Utilize these as you draw enemies towards you, as several waves of reinforcements will spill through a nearby gate.
When clear, make a dash for the Hwacha tower and climb to the top. Defeat the two operators with honor.
Once you have killed the two Archers, operate the Hwacha and rain arrows down upon the Mongol forces below as your allies continue to push forward.
Try aiming for the explosive barrels that can be found in the courtyard below, as these will take out multiple enemies at once.
Rejoin your Allies
Once you have defeated the Mongol forces, climb down from the tower and rejoin your allies.
Before rejoining, be sure to replenish your ammunition and collect any supplies you can find around the tents.
Drive the Enemy Across the Bridge
As the Mongols begin to lose ground, continue pushing forward with your allies, taking out any Mongols in the area.
As you defeat the first wave of forces, open the gate and finish off the remaining Mongol soldiers.
Like before, you’ll face one final wave of Mongols that range from Brutes, Archers, Swordsmen, Shieldmen, and Spearmen.
Climb the Bridge’s Gatehouse
With the Mongol forces defeated, climb the ladder that leads to the bridge’s gatehouse.
As you reach the top, a cutscene will play. During a short sequence, you will need to aim and fire at the horses carrying the carts of explosives. Don’t let them reach the other side of the bridge. This will conclude the Tale.
