Überwachung der Anwendung des Unionsrechts
Network on Monitoring the Application of Union Law
The Network on Monitoring the Application of Union Law was established by the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) in November 2024, to build on the work already undertaken by JURI in this area and leverage the renewed focus on ensuring proper implementation and enforcement of Union law. In particular, the Network aims at gathering direct insights from specialised committees on issues related to the application and implementation of Union law within their respective policy areas, in order to contribute to the JURI annual report on monitoring the application of European Union law. The committees that have, so far, appointed Members to the Network are: AGRI, CULT, ECON, EMPL, ENVI, IMCO, INTA, ITRE, LIBE, PETI, and TRAN. The Chair of the Network is the rapporteur of the own-initiative report on monitoring the application of European Union Law in 2023 and 2024, MEP Dainius ŽALIMAS (Renew Europe/LT). The Network holds its meetings in camera.
Meetings
The first meeting of the Network took place on 25 June 2025.
