Die junge Bürofee Honey führt ein geheimnisvolles Doppelleben: Durch das »I-System« verwandelt sie sich in ihrer Freizeit in die Superheldin Cutie Honey und bekämpft das Böse, welches in Gestalt des Panther-Claw-Clans die Weltherrschaft an sich reißen will. Als Honey’s Onkel von den Superschurken entführt wird, beginnt ihre wohl gefährlichste Mission und gemeinsam mit der Polizistin Aki und dem Reporter Hayami will sie den Panthern ein für alle mal zeigen, dass nur das Gute Platz in dieser Welt hat.
