
Pamela Sharma

Pamela Sharma is a senior manager leading the Civics@Work portfolio of The Civic Trust® for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. In this role she is responsible for piloting and launching new programs and initiatives that drive community-based solutions to our civic health crisis.
Prior to joining the U.S. Chamber Foundation, Pamela worked with a range of organizations from federal government agencies to start-ups and nonprofits. The bulk of her career has been spent in government consulting with clients including the Department of Defense, Secret Service, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and local government offices. She has experience in leadership and strategy development, policy research and analysis, strategic communications and graphic design, and program management.
She holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University, and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Affairs from the Elliot School of International Affairs at the George Washington University. She also attended Oberlin College where she majored in neuroscience and minored in theater while a member of the varsity women’s soccer team.
Originally born in Washington D.C., she spent her childhood dividing time between Maryland and Singapore.
