Comedy Central yesterday taped its roast of comedian Larry the Cable Guy in Burbank, Calif.
Among the celebrities to turn out for the show were Jeff Foxworthy, Toby Keith, Lisa Lampanelli, Nick DiPaolo, Greg Giraldo, Warren Sapp and John Salley.
"The Comedy Central Roast of Larry the Cable Guy" is scheduled to air on the cable network March 15 at 10 p.m.Previous Comedy Central roastees have included comedian/actor Bob Saget, rapper Flava Flav, actor William Shatner and actress/model Pamela Anderson.
Larry the Cable Guy, probably best-known for his catchphrase "Git-R-Done," has released six comedy albums and starred in three Blue Collar Comedy Tour-related movies, as well as in the films "Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector," "Delta Farce" and "Witless Protection." He also lent his voice to the character of Mater in the animated movie "Cars."
