Héritier Mesa

Héritier Mesa is a PhD candidate in political and social sciences at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Brussels, Belgium). His research interest lies at the intersection of economic anthropology, political anthropology, legal anthropology, urban anthropology, and anthropology of development. He has been conducting research on the informal economy of Kinshasa and underlying inequalities since 2019. Prior to that, he has conducted field research on microfinance and gender relations in the Philippines.
