Abdul Latif Alhassan

I am a professor of development finance and insurance at the Development Finance Centre (DEFIC), University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. I teach research methods and banking and finance in emerging markets courses on the Master of Commerce and Postgraduate Diploma in Development Finance programmes respectively. My research focuses on the industrial organisation of the financial services industry in Africa.
