Vittorio Bufacchi is Professor of Philosophy at University College Cork, Ireland.
His main research interests are in contemporary political philosophy, especially on social justice; human rights; and political violence. He has also published in the methodology of applied philosophy; rational choice theory; democratic theory; socialism; Jane Austen; Italian politics, Post-Truth, and Cicero.
He has published the following books: 'Why Cicero Matters' (Bloomsbury 2023); 'Everything Must Change: Philosophical Lessons From Lockdown' (Manchester University Press 2021); 'Social Injustice (Palgrave 2012); 'Violence and Social Justice' (Palgrave 2009).
