Dr Siqi Wang is a Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour at Aston Business School. Her research focuses on the intersections between work and nonwork domains, with particular emphasis on work–family dynamics, proactive work and leisure behaviours, employee well-being, and work engagement. She is especially interested in how individuals actively shape their work and personal lives through behaviours such as job crafting, playful work design, and leisure planning, and how these behaviours interact across domains to influence psychological and relational outcomes. Dr Wang’s work adopts quantitative method, and she has contributed to interdisciplinary conversations on work-life enrichment, dual-earner couples, and the role of self-initiated behaviours in promoting thriving at work and at home. She teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, delivering modules including:Organisational Behaviour, Global Working, and Research Methods. Her teaching is informed by her research interests, aiming to equip students with a critical and evidence-based understanding of human behaviour in organisational and global contexts.
