I am a food historian from the University of Warwick, interested in all things vegetable. My PhD focused on the history of the tomato in England and early modern gardening practices. My other research interest is in food and drink history in the medieval and early modern periods. I am also interested in environmental history, the history of animals in particular, as well as material culture studies.
