I am a researcher specializing in sustainable postharvest innovations and climate-resilient food systems, with a focus on indigenous crops, leafy greens, and fruit trees. My work is driven by the urgent need to reduce food loss, enhance nutrition security, and promote resilient, culturally relevant food systems across Sub-Saharan Africa.
I develop scalable, low-cost postharvest solutions that protect harvests, extend shelf life, and improve market opportunities for smallholder farmers. My research bridges agricultural innovation, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, indigenous food promotion, and climate adaptation to address the complex challenges facing vulnerable communities.
By strengthening the link between postharvest innovation, food security, and public health, I aim to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), and Climate Action (SDG 13). I am passionate about creating science-driven, culturally grounded solutions that make a real difference in the lives of people most affected by climate change.
I am always open to collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovative partnerships. Please feel free to connect if you share similar interests or would like to explore opportunities to work together.
