At Soba-ya Shinyoshi, not only is the variety of soba impressive, but they also offer a rich selection of tasty small dishes. Seated at the counter, I began with a delicate starter, followed by delicious grilled anago (conger eel) and other dishes. On the day I visited, they were making curry, and I was lucky enough to try a bit of it. It was a delightful flavor, quite different from the typical homemade curry.
