念願の北極２倍 : Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto Hadano Ten

This month, I had my first takeout experience with the spicy "Hokkyoku" ramen. After two takeout orders, my craving to eat it at the restaurant grew stronger. So, I decided to visit in the early afternoon. I debated between the regular and double spicy, ultimately ordering the double spicy Hokkyoku. As I waited with my apron on, the bowl arrived, and I could tell the soup had a different viscosity compared to the regular version. I took a bite. Hmm, a bit spicy. Another bite. I can handle it; it’s delicious, but definitely spicy. I wanted to believe that it would taste better at the restaurant, but honestly, it was just as good at home. In my opinion, the takeout had more noodles than I expected. Thank you for the meal!

Although I just had it five days ago, I couldn't forget the incredible taste, so I ordered the Northern Spicy Ramen to go. The restaurant was busy, but the takeout, especially with the fresh noodles, was incredibly quick, which was a pleasant surprise. Just like last time, I boiled the bean sprouts separately. This time, I put everything into the ramen bowl for tasting. It was absolutely delicious! Next time, I want to try the Northern Spicy Ramen with double spice or the regular version at the restaurant. I've been wanting to try the spicy Arctic ramen for a while, but I hesitated to order it at the restaurant, fearing I wouldn't be able to finish it. When I found out I could take it home, I bought it without hesitation. I chose fresh noodles for my order. Once I got home, I first boiled some bean sprouts I bought at the supermarket for 20 seconds and set them aside. Then, I boiled the fresh noodles according to the instructions and placed them on a separate plate. I took a bite of the bean sprouts in a dipping noodle style. This is what I call spicy deliciousness—absolutely amazing! The noodles were also served in a dipping style. It's spicy but still enjoyable and tasty. I can see why people get hooked on this. I wanted to challenge myself with the Arctic soup but was a bit anxious about whether I could handle it, so I found out about the small soup option and decided to visit. I usually order the Mongolian Tanmen, but today I opted for the Miso Tanmen instead. The flavor of the vegetables was excellent, and I was already satisfied with just that. However, today I tried the Arctic soup in a dipping noodle style, and I’m glad I did. It was incredibly delicious, and I can see why people get hooked on it. The spiciness was balanced with a rich umami flavor. Next time, I’ll definitely go for the Arctic soup. Thank you for the meal!

Last time, I had the mild miso tanmen and found it delicious, but this time I wanted something spicier, so I ordered the Mongolian Tanmen. I used a coupon for the Oolong tea. After a brief wait, it arrived. First, I took a sip of the broth. It was indeed delicious. The one I had at the Itabashi main store was fantastic, and this one was wonderfully tasty as well. It was a great meal.

This is my fourth visit to Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto and my fifth overall. This time, I ordered the Miso Tanmen with a spice level of 3—my first time trying this. Previously, I had ordered the Mongolian Tanmen at a spice level of 5; my first experience at the Kawasaki location was honestly just okay. Later, I had the same experience at the Kichijoji branch. Just when I was thinking I might be done with it, I had the chance to visit the Itabashi Main Branch, and it was incredibly delicious. I enjoyed the miso this time, but I plan to challenge myself with the Mongolian Tanmen next time. It was a great meal!
