Recently, the "Roadside Station Kasama" has been gaining popularity on TV and among tourism officials, with a noticeable increase in visitors every day. While food sampling at the roadside station is delightful, there aren't many good eateries in the area. In such cases, I highly recommend visiting this place! (Ibaraki is my hometown.) It's a sushi restaurant where you can enjoy quality set meals at a slightly higher price. I ordered the: ・Kaisan Bakudan Set Meal The bakudan, packed with fresh seafood like squid, natto, salmon, and tuna, is perfectly mixed with eggs and served over rice—it feels like heaven! Finding truly delicious restaurants in Kasama can be challenging (especially when some are suddenly closed), so it's wise to research ahead to ensure they're open when you visit. By the way, as a side note, Mont Blanc has made Kasama somewhat famous. There are establishments where you can enjoy fresh Mont Blanc on-site, so if you're visiting Kasama for any reason, treat yourself to a lovely lunch here! There are also private rooms available, creating a comfortable space where you can savor delicious local seafood while enjoying a leisurely and relaxing atmosphere. I visited again after a while! It was a great meal!
