I visited for a day trip. I purchased a bathing ticket from the vending machine for JPY 800. A 100-yen deposit is needed for the shoe locker, but it’s refundable. Towels are available for an additional fee. The changing room lockers are free of charge. The dressing area is spacious with plenty of hair dryers, but there’s only one sink available. The onsen has no taste or smell, which seems typical for a natural hot spring. There weren't many guests, so I was able to relax fully. Today's women's bath includes "Japan's only plasma bath in Western Japan," "high-concentration carbonated bath," and "fresh spring water bath.“ I’m not sure what the differences are, but I tried them all. There was an outdoor sauna that generates hydrogen every hour. It has about 10 seats, so it fills up quickly. Since sessions are only 7 minutes long, it would be better if they ran at least every 30 minutes. The outdoor area features various options including a shallow bath where you can lie down. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in two types: horse oil and orange, with the orange having a lovely scent. After the onsen, I had a meal at the restaurant. I ordered the demi-glace hamburger set for JPY 1500, beef tendon soba for JPY 830, and tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet) for JPY 350. I thought it was a bit pricey, but I was surprised when the food arrived! The portions are large and incredibly delicious!!! The soba was easily two servings, and it was loaded with tender beef tendon that added a rich flavor to the broth. The hamburger was soft and very tasty. The tamagoyaki was possibly microwaved, as the edges were a bit dry, but combined with soy sauce flavored grated daikon, it was delightful. The service here is more attentive than typical family restaurants, and I highly recommend this restaurant! Payment at the restaurant is done using a barcode on the locker key, settled at the front desk. They accept PayPay, and it's advisable to obtain a PayPay coupon in advance.
