This place is open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It's located in a rather remote area, inside a dairy barn by the lake. I arrived 15 minutes before opening because there was something I absolutely wanted to buy. Maybe I was a bit too eager! (laughs) While waiting, I noticed they have tables and chairs outside for dining. I realized that's why there were bug repellent and alcohol placed outside. I purchased cream puffs this time, and I got a pumpkin cheesecake as well, which might be a seasonal offering. Sometimes they have anpan (sweet red bean buns), and I'm hoping to encounter that someday. The pumpkin cheesecake had a flavor I really liked; I hope they make it a regular item!

It sometimes sells out within just an hour after opening. Even on scheduled business days, the shop may be closed unexpectedly, so it’s safer to check their Instagram in advance. You can make a reservation if you’d like to buy a lot of cheesecake or cream puffs. I personally prefer having them given to me frozen. I bought 2 rolls for JPY 150, panna cotta with rhubarb jam and blueberry jam, each for JPY 250, and an almond cake for JPY 150. The pricing for the rolls is quite reasonable, and they were very easy to eat. The panna cotta had a melt-in-your-mouth softness—so jiggly! Unlike pudding, I don’t think they used eggs, so it had a strong milk flavor. I inadvertently let the almond cake pass its expiration date, which was a mistake. It had a nice touch of something like orange peel, and it was delicious.

This place opened in August 2022. I arrived just after 11 AM when they opened on Saturdays. I'm glad my navigation guided me well. Wow, there were about 10 people in line! I started to worry they might not make it to me. I deeply regretted coming without sunscreen or a hat and just in sandals. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I found the cream puffs were sold out, but everything else was available. All items had reasonable prices. I was after the cheesecake, and there were only 2 left. That’s great! It was JPY 1100, approximately 12 cm in diameter. It’s a baked cheesecake cooked in a silver dish. There’s a lovely lemon aroma. Wow, it’s delicious! They say it lasts for 3 days in the fridge, but I’ll probably finish it much sooner (laugh). The place only accommodates those who can wait leisurely, as it seems there’s just one person managing the service.
