I finished taking pictures of the Pokemon manhole covers, so I decided to make a detour. (Although I've already made quite a few stops before going to take the photos!) I tried a collaboration parfait with high school students from Mikasa, and there was a wide variety of options, but I ultimately went with soft serve ice cream. - Soft Serve Ice Cream This is a refreshing milk soft serve with a slightly icy texture. If you like Yamanaka Farm's products, you'll probably enjoy this one too! There's no heaviness to it at all. There was a bit of an icy crunch, so maybe there wasn’t much soft serve available that day. (Well, the weather was bad…) - Coal Zangi These are presented like hot snacks, so they come out warm (though not freshly fried). They look really black and are packaged in a paper bag, which gets oily quickly, so it’s best to eat them right away or bring a plastic bag. They’re slightly larger, plump karaage (Japanese fried chicken) that have a good bite to them. They remind me of street vendor karaage!!! The seasoning isn’t overly strong. I was worried about my teeth turning black, but they didn’t at all! They also accept various electronic payments! I might go for the coffee jelly parfait next time.
