After thinking for a while, I walked from a distance in search of a restaurant, but since it was still early and the menu options seemed limited for dining alone, I ended up wandering from Daimon Yokocho to the station. Although I found some decent places, I had to skip one that was a bit too much for me, as I’m not particularly fond of shellfish. Initially, I tried to go to a conveyor belt sushi place underground near the station, but despite it only being 5:30 PM, there was a long line filled with Mandarin speakers. I saw that I was number 12, and while the first two people seemed fine, I noticed there were at least 10 more people in front of me, so I quickly gave up and decided to head back to my hotel. Just as I was about to leave, I stumbled upon this izakaya. It had a bright decor, an easy-to-understand menu, and a diverse selection of dishes. Not too bad. I do regret coming all the way to the countryside only to find such a trendy place, but let's overlook that. I ordered a few side dishes, and they were decent. The potato and egg salad was absolutely delicious—definitely top-notch! The rest were just average.
