The weather forecast predicted heavy rain for the next day. It was already evening, but I decided to go while I still could. I picked up my grandmother-in-law and headed to Takino Cemetery. After taking a left turn from the main road, the streets had changed once again. Every time I come here, the roads seem to multiply. The grave that my in-laws purchased in the early days is now quite deep inside. Since my grandmother-in-law suggested we head straight to dinner, I proposed Konoyoshi. In fact, I had walked past Konoyoshi a few days ago, so I already knew where the parking lot was located. We took the backroads to Ishiyama. Surprisingly, it was closer to the river than I thought. I managed to park right in front of the restaurant. Upon entering, they checked if we had a reservation. Of course, I told them we hadn’t made one, so we were seated at the only table that wasn’t reserved. All the other tables had reservation signs, and later, some people actually showed up for their bookings—it's clearly a popular place. I ordered the grill somewhat casually. I felt I could have Hamburg steak at a different chain, and I was contemplating pasta for western cuisine. There were two customers at the counter ahead of us, and as soon as we were seated, our orders were promptly served. This left us waiting a bit longer than anticipated, but it took a while. After a 34-minute wait, our food finally arrived. The 200g of meat looked delicious. I cut into it and took a bite. Hmm, the flavor was quite mild. At first glance, it looked like meat, but as I continued to cut and eat, I began to wonder if it was just thick slices of ham. I somehow managed to finish my meal, and it was a great meal. It seems I may not have a good rapport with Konoyoshi, even including past visits.
