I visited cafe Rossy alone on Monday at 2:10 PM. Although it’s a cafe, the building has a traditional Japanese style. There are five parking spaces available in front of the shop. Inside, there are five counter seats, one table, and a small raised tatami seating area with five tables. There were three other customers ahead of me, and no one came in after. I saw a feature on Yomiuri's information magazine about the "sauce-heavy Neapolitan pasta," but I was drawn to the enticing "Marron Pancake" I found on social media, so that’s what I came for. I ordered the "Marron Pancake (JPY 1,280, tax included)," which is available for order after 2 PM, and added a drink set for an extra JPY 320. Fifteen minutes later, my pancake and blended coffee were served. As expected, it was quite a large size. I used a knife to cut it into pieces. The pancake was warm, which allowed the marron ice cream on top to melt beautifully. The combination of marron cream, ice cream, and chestnuts matched perfectly with the deliciously baked pancake. There were at least ten peeled chestnuts on top, and the pancakes were stacked two thick pieces, making it extremely voluminous. Having eaten pasta at another restaurant prior, I intended to enjoy this as a dessert, but halfway through, I started to worry if I could finish it; however, I managed to clean my plate. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious pancake and coffee. It was a great meal.
