Stepping into this restaurant feels like jumping back in time to the Showa era, far beyond the Heisei period. The interior is dimly lit, with decor and furnishings that are entirely reminiscent of the Showa period. The clientele tends to be older, creating a very calming atmosphere. In fact, it’s quite soothing to be here. This time, I visited for lunch and chose Lunch A from the five options available. Today’s daily special was stuffed green peppers. I expected a small portion, but it turned out to be quite satisfying. The side dish of braised eggplant was somewhat unexpected, and while it didn’t fit the Western food theme, it was delicious, so no complaints there. I also received a generous serving of rice. The drink is standard coffee, but you can request a switch to tea if you prefer. At under JPY 1000, this lunch offers fantastic value for money. It was delicious—thank you for the meal!
