On Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11:30 AM, after shopping in Yoshioka Town and enjoying a bagel sandwich, I headed to CROFT BAKERY in Hiyoshi Town, Maebashi City. I arrived at 11:10 AM, but there was a line in front of the shop! Moreover, there were only three parking spaces available on the south side of the store! Inside, only two groups were allowed. As I entered and looked around, I purchased: Baguette - JPY 290 Hard Toast with Flaxseed and Rye Grains - JPY 680 Genovese - JPY 270 B.L.T. Sandwich - JPY 410 Total - JPY 1650. I immediately went to my grandchild’s place for a photo shoot! Following the advice of my reviewer, Ms. Pico, I only brought back the flaxseed and rye grain hard toast, which is said to be good for diets, and enjoyed it at home. Of course, I also handed my grandchild the chocolates and snacks I bought at Tsuruya. This hard bread with flaxseed and rye grains has an incredibly crunchy surface, giving it a wonderful texture! The inside is fluffy and chewy, and the more you chew, the more the flavors of flaxseed oil, rye, and sesame expand in your mouth, delivering happiness to your stomach. Mmm, delicious! It was worth the wait. So delightful! It was a great meal.
