Eel Roll and Steamed Dish
I have an undeniable love for steamed dishes, so I sometimes have an intense craving for them, especially when paired with unagi rolls. I like to order the sauce separately and make it richer—it's even been a trend online that unagi is particularly delicious with sauce over rice! (^o^) They offer unlimited pickled vegetables, and the nukazuke (fermented rice bran pickles) is exceptionally tasty!✨ The dining area has a beautiful view of the river, and you can watch the grilling process, making it enjoyable for the eyes as well. ☺️
Increased Eel Steamed in a Bamboo Basket
I craved steamed eel, so I visited Sansho no Ki in Yanagawa-ya, located in Shinguri. I chose the most reasonable option, the standard serving. *Free rice refills are available.* I noticed that the portion of eel has increased compared to before, although the price has risen slightly. The taste is truly delicious! ✨ You can enjoy unlimited eel bones and pickles. ☺️ My favorites are the takana and takuan pickles. Comes with liver soup.

With the lifting of restrictions, I was craving eel, so I visited Sansho no Ki! ✨ At the entrance, they had hand sanitizers and shields in front of the register. The pickles are now served buffet-style, with staff bringing appropriate portions to your table. Their COVID-19 safety measures are impressive! (^ - ^) This time, I sat in the back, away from the river view. The back area is also stylish and has a calm atmosphere! I ordered the unaju (eel on rice). ✨ It makes me happy to have extra sauce on it. Still, I think I prefer the steamed eel in a bamboo steamer. Haha.
